We've kinda gotten into a bit of a Superman theme for Sam. It started with his first Halloween costume when I dressed him as Superman and when one of the trick-or-treators asked what his name was I answered, "Super-Sam!" So I started singing this little ditty to him and the girls learned it and sing it to him regularly.

This year both Zoey and Ruby participated in AWANAs at our church. Zoey completed her first year of Sparkies and Ruby completed her first year of Cubbies. They loved their leaders and they learned so much. Zoey memorized 23 verses and all 66 books of the Bible. Most importantly, Zoey started to understand how much God loves her. She realized that because of her sin she needed a savior and this spring Zoey asked Jesus into her heart!!! Praise the LORD! Ruby memorized 31 verses! She also memorized some of the books of the Bible along with Zoey. Ruby has an AMAZING memory and some weeks she would memorize her verse AND Zoey's. We are so proud of these girls for all the hard work they did this year in AWANAs. Good job, girls!
Our wonderful friend, Sarah...who you might remember from Sam's birth...babysat Sam for us so we could get some good and focused time with the 3 girls. As soon as we walked in the door, they made a mad dash to the bathroom to grab all the hairbrushes and combs to "style" Ms Sarah's hair. She is such a good friend and a good sport. And let me tell you...her hair looked fabulous!

Today is Zoey's last day of Kindergarten. She technically isn't finished with school until June 7th but since we're leaving for kamp, her last day is today. I am so proud of my little graduate. She has grown up so much this past year. I can't believe how well she is reading and spelling. She loves to make cards for her friends and teachers and I love how she spells everything phonetically. It's been a great year. She gained so much confidence and she made some wonderful friends. Congratulations!
I love you, Zoey.

The girls had their Spring dance recital last weekend. Here are some clips from the 2 cutest dancers I know. I love how Ruby spots Dave in the first clip and points him out. Then in her last number she tries ever so sneakily to take some peaks at Dad. You can see how Zoey is looking so hard to find her family in the audience but never quite finds us. Though she works hard to "smile" the entire time.
