Our little Ruby Ellen is named after one of our most dear friends, Ellen Singleton. Here are a couple of pics of them together and a short video clip of Ruby telling Ellen how much she adores her and how glad she is that they share the same name. :) I love how Ruby just looks at Ellen with such a determined stare. It's like she has so much to say to her, but she just can't quite get it out. So sweet!

I haven't had the privilege to meet Ellen Singleton yet, but it's a treat to get to see her picture and interaction with the baby.
I can't even imagine what a thrill it must be to have a precious innocent named after you. It's a tribute of the highest honor, and one well deserved from all the amazing things we've heard about Ellen and her gigantic Christian heart. May Ruby grow to have not only the same characteristics, but also the same beautiful and unmistakable aura of love.

That was so sweet, Jen. I love the link between Ruby and Ellen. It looks like they clearly adore each other already. Ruby is so fascinated with Ellen, and it really does look like she's trying to speak to her. One of these days she'll burst forth and pour her little heart out.
She looks a lot like Zoey in some of the pictures, especially the top one. I can't believe she's in that sunsuit already!
That dear little Ruby is trying so hard to speak to Ellen. You can just see how she's trying to make sounds come out. What a beautiful little girl your second baby is too! You are a blessed mommy. Happy belated birthday, Sweetie!
